Leslie Becker-Phelps, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who is dedicated to helping people understand themselves and what they need to do to become emotionally and psychologically healthy. She also has a special interest in helping couples develop happier relationships. To this end, she treats individuals and couples in her private practice in Basking Ridge. She is also a prolific writer and speaks to the public about mental health issues. Leslie is the relationships expert on WebMD’s Relationships and Coping Community; and she writes a blog, “The Art of Relationships,” for WebMD. She writes another blog called “Making Change” on the Psychology Today website.

On top of her private practice, Leslie is on the medical staff at Somerset Medical Center in New Jersey. Somerset is a nationally accredited, 355-bed regional medical center, providing a variety of comprehensive emergency, medical/surgical and rehabilitative services to New Jersey residents. It is nationally recognized as a Magnet® hospital for nursing excellence.
