Summary
This Business Support Specialist, Marketing is responsible for supporting the DSV Road Sales team by managing company presentations, sales collateral and promotional items, communication and liaison between departments, external communications content such as social media and web press releases. This role partners with the Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams to improve the overall brand visibility and recognition in the marketplace.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging and compelling content creation consistent with brand identity as set forth by the Global Marketing Group.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and create visual assets, such as graphics, videos, and infographics, to support the sales team.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize strategies and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Support the development and execution of traditional and digital marketing campaigns, including sales collateral, promotional items, and special events by working with approved vendors.
  • Reviews data/process flow diagrams and documentation as required; participates in discussions to elicit requirements using approved business analysis techniques (interviews, document analysis, working sessions, documented business
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the industry.
  • Analyze customer insights and feedback to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans to achieve business objectives and targets.
  • Contribute ideas and insights to marketing brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as require

Educational background / Work experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelors in marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ Years' experience in marketing or advertising role.
  • 1+ Year experience working with web and/or graphic design.
  • 1+ year experience in the transportation industry
  • Demonstrated start-up or team-building experience is a plus.
  • Visual portfolio is a plus.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong multi-tasker with the with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data driven recommendations.
  • Ability to create measurable campaigns using focused marketing initiatives and strategies.

Language Skills

  • High level of verbal and written communication in English
  • Experience in APA-Style writing for press releases is a plus

Computer Literacy

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others)
  • Proficiency with Design/Graphic Design programs. (Adobe CreativeCloud, Corel Draw, Inkscape, SVG Edit)

Physical and/or Mental Requirements / Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand.The employee is often required to walk and use hand and eye coordination.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Hours and Environment
Normal working hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, however, working beyond these hours will often be required by business needs.

For this position, the expected base pay is:$18.75- $25.25/ Hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
