With triple digit growth over the past 3 years, we are looking for a driven sales professional with proven success at high level agency and travel client partnerships. This unique role is to be a key part of our growth and expansion in the US market.

Summary of the Role:

The Amadeus Senior Sales Manager/Director is responsible for leading sales and the strategic development of media agencies and travel clients. We are directly focused on Airlines, Destinations, Cruise, Attractions and Hotels. Strong experience with major agency business from the holding companies and large independent shops is critical.

Knowledge of digital media, programmatic buying, measurement and the competitive landscape is essential for the success of this key growth position.

The core focus of this role:

  • Developing with leadership a detailed strategy and plan to expand partnerships and participation with key agency and travel clients.

  • Identifying, building and closing new business opportunities for consumer and business media

  • Consulting and educating agencies & teams about the unique market position and capabilities Amadeus has to offer.

  • Representing Amadeus at industry events, conferences and market trips

In this role you'll:

  • Be responsible for new and existing business sales to agencies and travel direct clients.

  • Develop key relationships with Media Agencies, Airline and Travel Marketing decision makers.

  • Identify customer specific needs and leverage custom solutions across our product suite.

  • Lead Generation - sourcing new leads and building an active pipeline of business.

  • Build long term strategy with leadership for continued expansion in the US.

  • Collaborate with the greater Amadeus media team to refine and improve go to market planning.

  • Must be able to understand complex opportunities and how to position solutions in a crowded, competitive landscape.

  • Be the agency face of Amadeus. Help us further develop, define and grow our unique offer in the US market.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Education requirement- Bachelor's Degree or higher, and or equivalent work experience.

  • 5 years of experience working in digital media sales

  • 5 years of experience with media agencies and large client directs.

  • Proven experience of achieving quarterly and yearly budgets in excess of 3M

  • Advanced knowledge of ad tech and the vendor eco-system

  • Experience with Airline, Attraction, Cruise clients highly valued

  • Strong understanding of the travel eco-system preferred

  • Strong understanding of MS Office Suite

  • Ability to travel: 25-30%
