Job Summary |
Graduate Assistantship Overview Elmhurst University welcomes applications for a graduate assistantship in the Weigand Center for Professional Excellence (WCPE) for the 2024-2025 academic year, which is eligible for renewal for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a student position. Interested applicants will need to submit an application for admission into a degree seeking graduate program at elmhurst.edu/graduatestudies and be accepted before becoming eligible for consideration for a graduate assistant position that correlates with their area of study. Graduate assistants at Elmhurst University may be hired for a full tuition waiver based on 20 hours of service per week. Graduate assistants will also receive a stipend while they are working, paid bi-weekly, in support of their continued education. Graduate assistants will participate in their assistantships during the Fall and Spring terms at minimum and may be required to participate during January and/or Summer terms.
Eligible Graduate Programs: M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, M.B.A.

Special Notation: Offers for this position are conditional upon acceptance into one of the above noted graduate programs at Elmhurst University. Graduate students must maintain full-time enrollment in their graduate program in order to maintain a graduate assistantship. Nature of Work The Weigand Center for Professional Excellence (WCPE) supports Elmhurst University students and alumni as they identify their strengths, explore career possibilities and prepare for the job search. The Graduate Assistant provides administrative support to the following programmatic areas of the WCPE: the Mentoring Program, Career Education, and E-celerator/Jans Program. This position is supervised by the Director of Career Education and the Director, Jans Program, and E-celerator Executive in Residence. |
