Hours: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week/ 8:30am-5pm / M-F)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Campus: Evanston
Approximate start date: 5/20/2024
Approximate end date: 6/28/2024

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Housing Coordinator for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

The temporary Housing Coordinator will provide excellent customer service to a diverse population of students and staff supporting the Residential Operations & Services team.

Tasks include:

  • Responding to emails
  • Responding to phone calls from parents, students, and other stakeholders
  • Processing contract cancellations
  • Updating communications lists such as Mailchimp
  • Completing room bookings for undergraduate, graduate, and fraternity/sorority housing
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to Associate Director, Operations & Services

Qualifications Required:

  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, and to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills including multi-tasking abilities.
  • Candidates must be able to handle communications with tact, courtesy, and discretion.
