This position is for 1st shift; Monday 5:00am-2:30pm and Tuesday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm.

The Lead QA Floor Inspector oversees QA (Quality Assurance) Floor Inspectors, conducts product inspections, and ensures compliance with quality standards and regulations while serving as a subject matter expert for quality on the production floor.

Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Manages and coordinates QA Floor Inspectors' activities and department when the Supervisor is absent.

  • Assists in training associates and ensures adherence to SOPs, GDPs, and cGMPs

  • Performs in-process testing verification and reviews batch records/work orders

  • Releases batches within the electronic inventory system and submits samples to QC Lab

  • Conducts AQL as needed, reviews batch documentation, addresses errors promptly, and conducts compliance audits

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school or GED

  • Some college - preferred

  • Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb and bend within a manufacturing environment

  • Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish)

  • Prior Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with manufacturing equipment functionality

  • Experience in Quality Assurance Systems

  • Experience working with Computer Software such as Oracle, AS400, PQM, Captiva

YOU'RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:

  • Requires intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and attention to detail

  • Basic mathematical skills
