GENERAL PURPOSE:

Concentrates on maintaining and growing assigned key accounts in conjunction with the National Account Manager and Business Development Representatives. The Industry Specialist assists with analysis, account planning, day to day account interactions, account maintenance and administrative work to help meet company profit and sales goals.

The Industry Specialist may participate in webinars, phone conferences, and outbound sales related activities; Focusing on deepening the relationship with their assigned accounts and close large opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

  • Work diligently to meet company profit and sales goals
  • Support our distribution customers, offering top-notch customer service, quick turnaround, and long-term partnership
  • Work with other sales team members to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPI's are being met
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offering to better assist and upsell Luxor products
  • Service, develop, and maintain customer information ensuring they have the latest materials, pricing, and company updates
  • Manage customer contracts and rebate programs
  • Provide direction to Sales Associates who help with administrative tasks
  • Apply ethical sales solutions and operate from a customer centric philosophy

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interaction with other departments including; purchasing, marketing, accounting, order entry
  • Lead business reviews via teams and/or other online hosting sites
  • Participate in department trainings and forecasting events
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 2-3 years minimum sales experience (servicing mass market retailers preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Computer equipment and level of software requirements:

  • Intermediate Excel
  • Outlook
  • Experience and commitment to using CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience using ERP systems (Sage preferred) to review customer and product data
  • Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) to review customer and product data
